Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Project M&A Utility-scale Associate to support acquisition and divestment processes for wind, solar and storage assets across the U.S. and Canada.

You will build financial models, manage due diligence, and coordinate inputs from internal teams and external counterparties under senior supervision. The role reports to the Director of Project M&A Utility Scale, North America, with responsibilities spanning market research, data room management, and preparation of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, tax or related analytical field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant investment banking, project finance, renewable energy development, or related role.
• Experience building and maintaining financial models and investment presentations (Excel/PowerPoint).
• Foundational understanding of renewable energy project economics and valuation concepts.
• Exposure to M&A, debt financing, tax equity or similar capital markets workstreams.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with clear communication.
• Collaborative team player who can work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support transaction execution by coordinating workstreams and due diligence timelines.
• Assist with internal approvals by compiling analyses and coordinating inputs.
• Build and update financial models to value acquisitions and divestments.
• Coordinate information flow with internal teams and external counterparties.
• Prepare presentation materials for internal committees and external parties.
• Conduct market research on transaction activity and benchmarks.
• Support process improvements and maintain transaction documentation.
• Maintain data rooms, version control, and issue tracking.
