Job summary

Wisconsin Electric Power, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Utility Project Manager in West Allis, Wisconsin. This role leads cross-functional teams and coordinates design, construction, and field execution for electric utility projects, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and resources, mentor staff, and drive process improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• In lieu of a degree, at least 3 years in a leadership role related to utility design or construction.
• Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, conflict management and performance planning/feedback skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Customer Service Technicians, Designers, Expediting Clerks, and/or other staff; provide coaching and development.
• Establish annual development plans with each team member and monitor performance.
• Manage multiple projects from initiation through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Work with Area Management and external customers to meet design needs for gas and electric projects.
• Lead process and system improvements to enhance design and construction processes.
