Job summary

Cactus Petes Resort Casino in Jackpot, NV is seeking a laundry attendant to wash, dry, fold, iron and store linens, and to maintain clean and organized work areas. The role requires ability to work any shift, operate laundry equipment, and assist with vendor inspections.

Starting salary is $15.00 per hour, based on experience, and the Total Rewards package includes medical coverage, 401(k) matching, and an annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities

WE LOVE OUR WORK.

• This position qualifies for a $500 Sign-On Bonus. This bonus is not valid for any former Cactus Petes team members or current team members.
• Responsible for the washing, drying, folding, ironing and storing of linens for the laundry .
• Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, iron and store linens according to established procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance on the laundry equipment; includes cleaning dryer traps and greasing flat ironer.
• Maintain production levels according to level of room occupancy.
• Assist vendors who, as part of their service, perform inspections and tests of cleaning agents and operations.
• Handle cleaning products in a safe manner.
• Maintains daily worksheets.
• Must be willing to work any shift.
• Count & process reclaimed items.
• Weigh & count all received linen.
• Keep accurate counts of delivered and received linen counts from all receiving departments.
• This is a uniformed position, which requires that team members are in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty.
