Job summary

Qualifications

• Six years of professional experience in gas, water, or electric industry activities such as transmission, distribution, policy formation, rate design, or competitive energy markets.
• Associate degree may substitute for two years of experience; bachelor's degree for four years; master's degree for five; J.D. for six years.
• Current New York State employee with one year or more of permanent, competitive, or 55-b/c service in a qualifying title may transfer.

Responsibilities

• Analyze utility data and review registration applications.
• Facilitate dispute resolution and advocate for end users on electric, gas, water, and competitive energy services.
• Provide policy development support and conduct research.
• Perform administrative tasks and communicate with utilities, competitors, and stakeholders.
