The Utility Pole Assessment Foreman is responsible for leading daily field operations and supervising a crew performing utility pole assessments maintenance and restoration activities This role requires strong leadership communication organization and the ability to ensure work is completed safely while meeting company and customer expectations The Foreman will provide direction to field crews support employee development maintain productivity goals and represent Osmose professionally when interacting with customers utility representatives and community members
This position requires the ability to Regularly stand walk bend stoop kneel crouch crawl climb and balance Frequently reach with hands and arms and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity Regularly lift andor move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift andor move up to 100 pounds Maintain the mobility and physical capability necessary to safely perform all essential job functions
This position is primarily performed outdoors and may involve exposure to Heat humidity cold temperatures freezing conditions and other weather elements Poisonous plants insects allergens and environmental hazards Preservatives and coatings used in utility maintenance operations Energized electrical equipment requiring adherence to established safety procedures Moderate noise levels with occasional exposure to loud environments exceeding 85 decibels Travel is expected to exceed 80 and may vary based on customer needs and project locations Frequent overnight travel Monday through Friday throughout one or more states may be required Extended workweeks and occasional weekend work may be necessary during peak seasons or special projects
