Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services, Inc. is hiring crew members to assist foremen with pole inspection, treatment, and restoration. Opportunities for advancement are available. Travel throughout the region is required, with weekly production bonuses included in the hourly rate.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Operate safely with required PPE.
  • Dig holes around utility poles.
  • Apply wood preservatives to pole ground line area.
  • Maintain productivity and quality meeting job norms.
  • Operate company vehicle when applicable.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Foreman.
  • Intensive manual labor is required.

We are looking for motivated individuals who will assist the foreman with pole inspection, treatment, and pole restoration. Immediate openings for crew members with excellent advancement opportunities . Must be willing to travel throughout your region. Bonuses are also added into the hourly rate of pay, and are based on weekly production.

Responsibilities
  • Operate in a safe and efficient manner utilizing all required safety equipment (hard hat, safety vest, above ankle lace-up Electrical Hazard (EH) rated work boots, etc.)
  • Hand digging 18-inch holes around utility poles.
  • Apply wood preservatives to the ground line area of a pole.
  • Must achieve and maintain acceptable levels of productivity and quality of work based on job norm and-in- comparison to fellow employees.
  • Operate company vehicle (if applicable and qualified).
  • Perform all other reasonable duties as assigned by the Foreman.
  • Intensive manual labor required.

  • Must have reliable means of transportation.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Must maintain a consistent attendance record and be available for work Monday through Saturday.
