Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services, Inc. seeks crew members to assist the foreman with pole inspection, treatment and restoration. This hands-on role requires rigorous safety practices and the ability to travel within your region.

Immediate openings with opportunities for advancement and a wage augmented by weekly production bonuses are offered. Responsibilities include digging around poles, applying wood preservatives, and maintaining productivity while working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Willing to travel away from home for short and extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to commute to various locations.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Available to work Monday through Saturday.
• Able to work on uneven terrain and in various weather conditions.
• No formal education required or specified in the ad.

Responsibilities

• Assist foreman with pole inspection, treatment and restoration.
• Operate safety equipment and company vehicle (if applicable).
• Dig holes around utility poles.
• Apply wood preservatives to ground line of poles.
• Maintain productivity and quality according to job norms.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Foreman.

We are looking for motivated individuals who will assist the foreman with pole inspection, treatment, and pole restoration. Immediate openings for crew members with excellent advancement opportunities . Must be willing to travel throughout your region. Bonuses are also added into the hourly rate of pay, and are based on weekly production.

Responsibilities

• Operate in a safe and efficient manner utilizing all required safety equipment (hard hat, safety vest, above ankle lace-up Electrical Hazard (EH) rated work boots, etc.)
• Hand digging 18-inch holes around utility poles.
• Apply wood preservatives to the ground line area of a pole.
• Must achieve and maintain acceptable levels of productivity and quality of work based on job norm and-in- comparison to fellow employees.
• Operate company vehicle (if applicable and qualified).
• Perform all other reasonable duties as assigned by the Foreman.
• Intensive manual labor required.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to travel away from home for short and extended periods to various job locations when necessary.
• Must have reliable means of transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must maintain a consistent attendance record and be available for work Monday through Saturday.
