Job summary

Walbec Group is seeking an experienced Laborer to lead an underground utility crew. You will coordinate labor tasks, support pipe layers, operators, and the foreman, and help keep jobsite safety and workflow organized.

The role requires 3–5 years road construction laborer experience, ability to lift 75 pounds, and flexibility for varied hours including nights and weekends. CDL is strongly desired, and union membership is optional.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Class A CDL strongly desired.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• 3-5 years road construction laborer experience.
• Minimum 6 months experience assembling and installing sanitary sewer pipe and manholes, water main and storm sewer pipe.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
• Able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends.
• Member of a Local Laborer Union or willingness to become one.

supports pipe layers, operators, and the foreman by coordinating labor

stay organized and efficient. The Top Laborer is a key crew member who
leads by example, helps direct other laborers, and keeps day-to-day
operations running smoothly. Must be able to lift 75 pounds
Requirements: Valid driver\'s license and satisfactory driving record.

including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed. Be able to
tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and work in dirty and
dusty environments. Member of a Local Laborer Union, or willingness to
become a union member are required. Union membership is not required
prior to employment. 3-5 years road construction laborer experience
Required. Minimum 6 Months Experience In Assembling And Installing sanitary sewer pipe and manholes, water main, and storm sewer pipe and
manholes. Knowledge of confined spaces, OSHA trenching and sloping is
