Responsibilities

• Assist pipe layers with installation of water, sewer, and storm drainage systems.
• Handle hand tools and deliver materials to crew members and assist with alignment and placement of pipe.
• Prepare trenches and job sites by clearing debris and ensuring proper grading.
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and around job sites.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company and OSHA standards.
• Follow instructions from supervisors, foremen, and crew leaders.
