Cardinal Civil Contracting in Kernersville, NC, is seeking a motivated Pipe Laborer to support our pipe crews installing, maintaining, and repairing underground water, sewer, and storm systems. This entry-level role focuses on preparing trenches, handing tools, and keeping the jobsite clean and safe.

You will follow safety protocols, assist with alignment, and help load materials, with opportunities to learn and grow within Cardinal Infrastructure Group.

Formación

• 6 months to 1 year of construction or underground utility experience.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with trench safety and underground utility work.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Pipe Installation Support
• Assist pipe layers and equipment operators with the installation of water, sewer, and storm drainage systems.
• Hand tools and materials to crew members and assist with the alignment and placement of pipe.
• Prepare trenches and job sites by clearing debris and ensuring proper grading.
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and around job sites.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company and OSHA standards.
• Perform general labor duties as assigned to support project completion.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in daily safety briefings.

POSITION SUMMARYCardinal Civil Contracting is a heavy civil and site development contractor and part of Cardinal Infrastructure Group (Nasdaq: CDNL), a publicly traded infrastructure company with operations across the Carolinas and Atlanta metro and expansion underway into Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.The Pipe Laborer supports our pipe crews in the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground water, sewer, and storm utility systems.
