Job description

This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the facility. Under general supervision, this role involves a variety of routine tasks at the Columbus Plant, requiring some independent judgment for minor decisions. The employee must work the assigned shift, which could be day or night, and support all department staff at the facility.

Additional Information:

Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 6:00pm - 2:00am

Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour

This position is eligible for performance-based bonuses according to company plans.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work without sponsorship
• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing or distribution

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating machinery in manufacturing/distribution
• Experience with packaging equipment like robotics, filling machines, etc.
• Monitoring gauges and machinery indicators
• Quality monitoring of raw materials or finished goods
• Use of material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Experience in the paint or chemical industry

Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning process vessels and equipment
• Performing drum/tote offs and recycling trailer loads
• Maintaining cleanliness of pumps, tanks, valves, and related parts
• Operating heavy cleaning equipment if necessary
• Adhering to safety rules and participating in safety programs
• Supporting packaging and shipping of finished goods
• Assisting with shipping & receiving tasks
• Working overtime as needed
• Operating forklifts and equipment safely (certified required)
• Performing assigned duties and maintaining cleanliness
• Ensuring compliance with MCP, EHS, and ISO standards
• Handling hazardous waste responsibly, including proper labeling, storage, and emergency procedures
