Job summary

Electrolux Home Products, Inc. in Springfield, TN is seeking a skilled associate to support assembly lines and operate a Powered Industrial Truck. The shift starts at 4:45 am and ends at 1:30 pm, scheduled around production needs.

Key tasks include testing and repairing appliances, training new associates, and addressing quality issues. You will also troubleshoot defects and help reduce workmanship errors while contributing to a safe, efficient plant environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years' experience testing, repairing, and troubleshooting appliances or mechanical systems.
• 1+ years' experience assisting with quality issue resolution and process improvements.
• Must achieve Powered Industrial Lift Truck certification within 6 months of hire.
• EMS Yellow Gear Certification within 30 days of hire and EMS Green Gear Certification within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties on the assembly lines and/or operating a Powered Industrial Truck to provide plant wide support when needed.
• Tests and repairs ranges appliances.
• Trains new associates on job tasks and assists in follow-up of quality issues.
• Troubleshoots functional defects.
• Repair workmanship errors.
• May perform other job duties as needed.

You will be based in our Springfield, TN location.This shift will start at 4:45 am and end at 1:30 pm depending on the production schedule.

Your main tasks:

• Performs all duties on the assembly lines and/or operating a Powered Industrial Truck to provide plant wide support when needed

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift packages 40 lbs. or less on a consistent basis
• Should be able to team lift any package greater than 35 lbs. but less than 71 lbs.
• Should be able to handle repetitive twisting, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, and bending
• Must be able to spend long periods of time on your feet
