Job summary

Fleet Laboratories in Lynchburg, VA, is seeking an operator to safely perform sanitation, equipment cleaning, and support packaging lines. The role involves operating packaging equipment and checking batch production in a cGMP environment.

The position offers a pay range of $16.14–$25.90 per hour, with heavy lifting up to 75 pounds and occasional handling of larger quantities. A high school diploma and at least two years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all processing equipment according to procedure.
• Prime lines and complete batch record initiations.
• Fill out all procedures and batch records including filter information and tags.
• Assist maintenance personnel in setup of miscellaneous lines, removal and re-assembly of rotating joints, and other related duties.
• Assist processing technicians in the weighing and manufacturing of batches.
• Maintain logs and records on cleaning activities and filters; keep storage areas neat.
• Perform other related duties as required.

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:

Safely perform a variety of sanitation, equipment cleanings, and other related duties. Operate packaging equipment and check processing batch production.

Pay Range: $16.14 - $25.90 / hour

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Clean and sanitize all processing equipment according to procedure. Prime lines and complete batch record initiations. Properly fill out all procedures and batch records including filter information and tags.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Assist maintenance personnel in the setup of miscellaneous lines, removal and re-assembly of rotating joints, and other related duties.
• Assist processing technicians in the weighing and manufacturing of batches.
• Maintain an assortment of logs and records on cleaning activities and filters. Maintain utility supplies, equipment, and storage areas in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Perform other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school degree or the equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of related experience.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Supervisor, Processing and Utility

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS/PYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Substantial amount of walking and use of ladders required.
• Must be able to lift quantities up to 75 pounds and handle/position quantities up to 450 pounds.
