Job summary

The Gund Company in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Utility Operator (Manufacturing) to support production across a variety of equipment and departments, with a 2:00 PM-10:30 PM schedule.

This full-time role offers competitive pay plus a 15% shift differential and opportunities to learn on the shop floor. You will follow work orders and basic blueprints, perform basic inspections, assist with packaging, keep areas clean and safe, and grow into more specialized manufacturing tasks as you gain

Qualifications

• Team-oriented, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate priorities to supervisors.
• Comfort working with tools, equipment, and measuring devices.
• Exposure to fabrication/production environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of equipment to support production across departments.
• Load materials, move parts, and help ensure jobs are completed efficiently.
• Follow work orders, instructions, and basic blueprints to complete tasks accurately.
• Perform basic inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Assist with packaging, counting, and preparing materials for shipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Assist teammates to meet production priorities.
