Position Details

We are offering full-time (40 hours/week) positions for a third shift Utility Operator I (4 p.m. - 4 a.m.), with a schedule of 4-on-4-off. The starting pay is $26.13 per hour, plus a 7-10% night differential based on hours worked. Employees are eligible for pay increases every 6 months during the first two years, contingent on performance.

Job Responsibilities

This role involves working as part of a team in an advanced capacity and covering various positions based on production needs, including:

1. Cheese Line Operator: Packaging bulk cheddar cheese, requiring the ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs repeatedly.
2. Whey Packaging Operator: Packaging whey powders, with forklift operation required and the ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
3. Milk Receiving: Unloading milk from tanker trucks, working at heights on top of trucks.
4. Forklift Operator: Assisting with putting away bulk cheddar into coolers.
5. Sanitation: Cleaning cheese and whey equipment using water and chemicals.

A key aspect of this position is establishing and maintaining effective working relationships, providing guidance to trainees and coworkers, and maintaining accurate records. The role requires mature judgment and flexibility in work schedule.
