You will read job travelers, verify part counts, and ensure quality and productivity while following ISO procedures and PPE requirements. This is a hands-on, fast-paced production position with opportunities for growth.

Job description

Adecco is currently hiring motivated and detail-oriented individuals for a Utility Operator position with a growing manufacturing company. As a Utility Operator, you will support a variety of manufacturing functions including grit blasting, plastics molding, finishing molded parts, machining operations, inspection, and general production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate grit blasting equipment to finish plastic molded parts.
• Perform plastics molding and related production functions as trained.
• Complete secondary operations including drilling, tapping, machining, and fixture work.
• Mix fillers and hardeners according to specifications.
• Inspect parts, identify imperfections, and fill voids as needed.
• Sand, drill, and finish products according to work instructions and customer requirements.
• Read job travelers and specifications to ensure accurate production.
• Verify part counts and route materials to the next stage of production.
• Meet established quality and productivity standards.
• Follow ISO quality procedures and manufacturing systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Consistently follow all company safety policies and use required PPE.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Surface finishing experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand job travelers and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to work with hand tools.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Frequent reaching, grasping, and handling of parts and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds as needed.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
