Description

Armstrong Service in partnership with R.J. Reynolds is currently interviewing for a full-time Utility System Operator in Winston–Salem and King, NC. All benefits start on date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the reliable delivery of high quality utilities and customer service.
• Daily 24/7 operation and maintenance of high-pressure water-tube boilers, open and closed loop chillers and HVAC systems, compressed air and vacuum systems.
• Operate and monitor distributed control systems and logs; maintain accurate records and communications.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate safe behavior, self-motivation, flexibility in working shifts, good communication skills, and a CAN DO attitude.
• Basic mechanical and electrical skills to perform troubleshooting and repair.
• Basic computer skills required for logs and other communications.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years in utility systems operation (hands-on and distributed control systems experience preferred).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Education: High School or equivalent.
