Job summary

ELANTAS North America, LLC is seeking a utility person to support production needs. You will perform all functions of a Mill Operator, Smelter Operator, Polisher, and Laborer as required to meet production objectives.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 3 years of manufacturing experience, and the ability to work in manual process environments and industrial settings. You may need to pass a physical, drug screen, and wear PPE as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in manual process environments is preferred.
• Ability to work in an industrial environment is required.
• All new hires must pass a physical examination and pre-employment drug screening.
• PPE (half mask respirator) may be required and requires clean shaving when necessary.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or plant environment for limited periods.
• Ability to travel domestically occasionally.

Your responsibilities

The primary function of the utility person is to fulfill production needs as required.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Perform all duties in accordance with Company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.

Your profile

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in manual process environments.
• Ability to work in an industrial environment.
• All new hires must pass a physical examination and pre-employment drug screening to be employed.
• Wearing a half mask respirator (PPE) may be required to perform the duties of this position and will necessitate being clean shaven when required.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or plant environment for limited periods (as needed for system support, process validation, or training)
• Ability to tolerate typical office and industrial environments (noise, temperature variations, PPE when required)
• Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer and attending virtual or in-person meetings
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, data entry, and navigating SAP systems and other software applications
• Ability to view and analyze computer screens for prolonged periods (visual acuity for detailed data review)
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including participation in meetings, training sessions, and cross-functional collaboration
• Occasional walking, standing, or movement between office or work areas as needed
• Ability to travel occasionally (domestic) based on project or system implementation needs
• 5 days a week in office
