Principal Responsibilities
  • Operate equipment related to grain loadout and unloading, including trucks, rail cars, scales, pumps, and conveyors.
  • Perform tasks such as switching rail cars, operating locomotives, rail pit unloading, and housekeeping.
  • Monitor equipment, conduct daily inspections, solve simple problems, and escalate complex issues.
  • Rotate through all utility operator positions.
  • Collaborate with peers and management to improve operations and foster teamwork.
  • Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with accommodations if needed.
  • Comfort working at heights (4 feet and above).
  • Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor conditions with PPE.
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Basic computer and typing skills.
  • Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or different shifts with prior notice.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Forklift experience.
  • Experience with railcars.
  • Experience in production or military environments.
