Description

Responsible for prioritizing safety in daily work routines for oneself and others. Operates power-driven equipment to excavate trenches for pipelines, performs field repairs and adjustments, and assists in installing and dismantling equipment related to natural gas pipeline systems. May serve as the primary driver of gang trucks and backhoe trailers. Maintains records of operating time and participates in emergency standby as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a safe driving record, including operation of backhoe and driving gang trucks, pulling backhoe trailers
  • At least one year of backhoe operation experience preferred; ability to use standard pipe tools and operate pipeline construction equipment
  • May require use of self-contained breathing apparatus in gas-related emergencies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the natural gas construction industry

  • Protect networks, devices, programs, and data from cyber threats
  • Legal authorization to work in the US; no sponsorships
  • Pre-employment drug testing and background checks
  • Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of natural gas properties and equipment
  • Teamwork and effective communication skills
