Position Summary

This position plays a critical role in the machining and manufacture of precision high-end products. Working with a variety of machines and applications, this role is responsible for performing finish-work in a variety of materials and products.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Deburring, sanding, and blending - polishing parts using hand tools, air and power tools.
• Lapping flange faces flat.
• Tumble parts.
• Sandblasting using a cabinet sandblaster.
• Use tank farm in cleaning parts for secondary operation and prior to assembly and paint.
• Apply surface finishes to aluminum, brass, copper and stainless steel.
• Clean and wash parts.
• Some light assembly.
• Maintain tools used and keep work area clean and orderly.
• Able to manage multiple projects and activities concurrently to achieve desired outcomes.
• Has high attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

The shift in Gorham, Maine is Monday through Friday 6am – 2:30pm.
