Job summary

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30am.
What will you do in this role?
  • On‑the‑job training is expected as training associated with this role is long term. Mastering tasks will take months to years, so a desire to learn new skills and concepts is required.
  • Willing to learn, open‑minded and curious.
  • Attention to detail, mechanically inclined and willing to learn the concepts behind how components work in addition to the steps required for tuning them.
  • Learn assembly and testing of RF products and ensure product meets specifications defined by engineering drawings and data sheets.
  • Ensure that work travelers are complete and accurate.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements
  • Two or more years in a technical role or manufacturing environment or experience in skilled trades helpful.
  • Associate’s degree in electronics or knowledge of hand radio helpful.
  • Must be detail oriented, highly organized, and able to work well with associates at all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to use hand tools for assembly work.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows‑based computer applications.
  • Requiring hand‑eye coordination and finger dexterity.
  • Routinely communicates face‑to‑face on telephone and in writing, requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Normally standing with freedom of movement on a regular basis and ability to move within a campus setting.
  • Ability to lift and manipulate R.F. components and test equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires strong interpersonal skills.
