Responsibilities

• Lead the Production Line Staff and ensure productive outputs.
• Coordinate with other departments to achieve positive production results.
• Inspect products hourly or as needed for critical design or use quality.
• Maintain understanding of job rates and reconcile to ensure accuracy.
• Perform all computer functions as they pertain to this job and use the WMS effectively.
• Train line workers in all aspects of production line work and ensure safety.

About The Opportunity

This position is responsible for leading the Production Line Staff.

Essential Job Functions

• Professional in attitude and performance in leadership of staff
• Work in conjunctions with other departments for positive production results
• Inspection of product every hour or more frequently depending if the job is complex or critical in its design or use
• Knowledge of the rates of the jobs running on the production line you are responsible for
• Responsible for reconciliation to ensure accuracy of job
• Ability to perform all computer functions as they pertain to this job
• Perform all functions as required in WMS
• Responsible for training line workers in all aspects of production line work
• Responsible for maintaining company safety environment
• Responsible for effectively ensuring company procedures and policies are being followed

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Three to six months related experience or training in warehouse production

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to understand all aspects of the WMS system
• Ability to understand quality standards, methods and reporting as required
• Ability to plan in advance for production in your area
• Ability to interpret instructions both oral and written
• Ability to produce at a high level through your staff
• Ability to work with plant management for required results
• Ability to process information and merchandise through computer system

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting
• Walking, standing, bending for duration of shift
• Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs.
