The Regal Rexnord Gear Group (Falk) seeks an experienced Utility Machinist at our Canal Street location.

Key Accountabilities

• Position will require the ability to set-up and operate a variety of manual and CNC machine tools, including Lathes, Mills, Cylindrical Grinders, and Gear Hobbers.
• The successful candidate must be versatile and flexible; expected to adapt to changing job duties daily to handle heavy workloads and cover for vacationing employees.
• Responsibilities may include manually edge-grinding parts to remove tooth burrs.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma, HSED, or GED required.
• Previous machinist experience required.
• Experience with high-precision measuring instruments (vernier, tooth caliper, micrometers) accurate to thousandths of an inch.
• Strong knowledge of geometry.

Capabilities and Success Factors

• Must be a self-starter, work well with others, and be willing to adapt as needed.
• Previous gear cutter and gear grinder experience is preferred.
• Technical school training is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and gear cutting summaries.
