Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking entry-level teamwork-oriented individuals to join our Courtesy Team. As a cart attendant, you will help bring carts from the parking lot into the store and support various departments with customer-focused service in a fast-paced environment.

You will be involved in maintaining cleanliness, assisting with trash collection, and supporting the service desk and store floors. Training is provided, and a positive attitude is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; training provided.
• Ability to lift and move products and operate basic store equipment.
• Strong customer-service mindset and effective listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Escort shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Assist with parking lot, lawn, and store trash collection.
• Safely use snow removal equipment to clear snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns as needed.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning and upkeep.
• Coordinate with service desk, entrances, lanes and parking areas.
