Job summary

Meijer is seeking entry-level Team Members to support a variety of retail tasks across the store, from cart retrieval to customer service interactions. You will contribute to clean and organized spaces and assist multiple departments to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, communicate well, and can handle physical tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role offers exposure to diverse store operations and opportunities for growth within the Meijer family.

Responsibilities

• Deliver carts from outside to interior of store.
• Manage parking lot, lawn, and interior trash collection.
• Operate snow removal equipment safely when required.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, entrances, check lanes, and parking areas.
• Support multiple departments including Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.

As an entry-level team member, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to additional services provided by our store, product and customer service. What You’ll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
