Job summary

GridHawk LLC in Waterford, MI is seeking a skilled Utility Locating Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will locate underground gas and electric lines, read prints and maps, and document all work with precision.

You must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather, maintain an excellent driving record, and be available to work 40–60 hours per week, including six days and on-call shifts. A DOT drug screen is required.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately locating underground utility lines, including gas and electric utilities, ensuring safety and precision in all tasks. This role requires strong documentation skills, the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, no work restrictions, and a commitment to construction safety priorities. Mandatory training will be conducted for this position both in class and in the field before certification.
