Job summary

IAP World Services, an Intrepid Global Solutions company, is seeking a Kitchen Utility to support defense and national security missions. You will wash dishes mechanically and by hand, work as part of a kitchen team, and help maintain sanitary dish and kitchen areas.

The role requires reliability in a fast-paced environment with duties including loading/unloading the dish machine, keeping equipment clean, and assisting with opening/closing checklists to ensure dining readiness.

Qualifications

• 1+ years related experience in kitchen operations or dishwashing.
• Washes dishes mechanically and by hand and maintains cleanliness.
• Maintains clean dishware and kitchen areas to ensure sanitary conditions.

Responsibilities

• Loads, runs, and unloads dish machine daily.
• Keeps the dish machine clean and reports issues to the kitchen manager.
• Monitors water temperature and chemical levels for sanitary wash cycles.
• Washes and stores all tableware and kitchenware.
• Cleans dish room and assists in opening/closing checklists.

Under a major Intelligence Community contract, IAP provides facility services including operations, maintenance, engineering, logistics, construction, grounds, custodial, environmental, safety, safety, access control, events, and food services. IAP is seeking a Kitchen Utility candidate. This candidate will wash dishes mechanically and by hand. This candidate will also work as a team to clean all kitchen areas and utilities.

General Responsibilities:

• Maintains a customer focus while performing duties.
• Assumes 100% responsibility for the cleanliness of dishware.
• Loads, runs, and unloads dish machine.
• Keeps the dish machine clean and reports any functional or mechanical problems to the kitchen manager immediately.
• Monitors dish machine water temperature and chemical levels to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
• Washes and stores all tableware and kitchenware.
• Keeps Dish room clean and organized and assist in opening and closing checklists.
• Maintains adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
• Bags and hauls kitchen trash to dumpster.
• Cleans food preparation and production areas as required.

Experience/Knowledge:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience and 1 or more years related experience.
