Job description

Martin Marietta is currently seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team at the Noblesville Sand location. This role involves operating various equipment and assisting with plant maintenance, production, and equipment operation.

Essential Functions

1. Assist in plant operations including production, quality control, loading, and shipping.
2. Assist with preventative and routine maintenance on mobile and plant equipment.
3. Be willing to cross-train in all plant areas.
4. Learn to operate plant-specific mobile equipment.
5. Perform daily pre/post-shift inspections on equipment and maintain maintenance logs.
6. Maintain good housekeeping in your areas of responsibility.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

This position operates primarily within a sand dredge operation and involves frequently operating heavy equipment.

Physical Demands

The employee must occasionally stand, walk, sit, handle objects, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and smell. Occasionally, lifting or moving up to 50 pounds is required. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Position Details

This is a full-time role that may require long hours and weekend work.
