ilani, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Utility Heavy Cleaner to support restaurant staff by deep-cleaning Food and Beverage areas when the outlet is closed.

Responsibilities

• Promotes superior guest service.

• Moves cooking equipment away from walls to detail and clean underneath.
• Removes filters from vent hoods and washes them.
• Cleans, sanitizes and polishes all food contact surfaces where applicable.
• Cleans floors and refrigeration units.
• Operate the dishwasher and check all items for cleanliness.
• Proactively maintain all dishwashing and other cleaning equipment.
• Clean the garbage area; and sort and remove trash.
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must stand for long periods of time and multi-task in a fast- paced environment while performing physical activities that require moderate strength including standing, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling of materials.
• Must have the ability to lift pots, pans, and move kitchen equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must possess finger dexterity to use small tools adeptly.
• Must be able to complete assigned tasks with minimal oversite.
• Must follow instructions carefully and be able to communicate professionally.
• Must possess a valid food service card.
• Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
