Job summary

Producers Rice Mill in Greenville, MS is seeking a sanitation worker for cleaning and sanitizing equipment in the mill area. Schedule may be 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or a rotating 12-hour shift from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with 4 days on/4 days off, and overtime including weekends and holidays.

The role includes maintaining sanitation records, following safety and food safety rules, and willingness to work in hot or cold temperatures, lift up to 100 lbs, and climb up to 30 feet as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
• Must be willing and able to lift up to 100 lbs. periodically throughout the day.
• Must be willing and able to climb up to 30 feet, as needed.
• Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and turn throughout the day.
• Must be willing and able to tolerate working in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to be trained to use man-lift.
• Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Just be willing and able to follow safety and food safety rules.
• Other duties as requested by supervisor.
