Job summary

Producers Rice Mill is seeking a maintenance supervisor to lead the maintenance staff, handle staffing and scheduling, and coordinate maintenance activities with operations. 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, overtime as needed, including weekends and call out.

Job Summary

The maintenance supervisor will manage the maintenance staff in daily work including planned and unplanned activities. They will be responsible for staffing, scheduling and any disciplinary actions required. Coordinate maintenance activities with the operations staff. Use CMMS to schedule, track, and develop preventative maintenance activities as well as any unscheduled repairs. Responsible for the staff's adherence to all safety and food safety policies.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be able to work days and/or nights.
• Must be at least age 21, have a valid driver's license and a clear driving record.
• Must have at least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience as well as 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Must have CMMS experience as well as basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Must have a strong mechanical troubleshooting background.
• Must be willing to climb up to 200 feet high.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to tolerate working in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and turn throughout the day.
• Must be willing and able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must read, speak, and understand the English language fluently.
• Must be willing and able to wear the required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment.).
• Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules.
• Other duties as requested by supervisor.
