Job summary

Producers Rice Mill is seeking a Safety Sensitive Sanitation Technician responsible for cleaning and sanitation of equipment in mill areas. Daily duties include dry cleaning with compressed air, sweeping, and maintaining sanitation records on a defined frequency.

This position requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb up to 30 feet, and work in hot or cold temperatures. Training for man-lift operation will be provided. Schedule is 12-hour shifts (7-7) on rotating swing.

Qualifications

• Must possess basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Read, speak, write and understand English.
• Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs periodically.
• Capable of climbing up to 30 feet as needed.
• Ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and turn throughout the day.
• Must tolerate hot and cold temperatures for extended periods.
• Must stand and walk for extended periods.
• Willing to be trained to use a man-lift.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize equipment in the mill areas.
