Qualifications

• Must be willing to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to climb stairs and ladders throughout the day.
• Must possess basic mechanical skills.
• Must read, speak, write, and understand the English language.
• Must be willing to be trained to necessary paperwork.
• Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Must be willing and able to follow all Safety and Food Safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Operates, inspects, and conducts maintenance activities of equipment used for hull grinding.
• Cleans work areas and ensures equipment is functioning properly and in spec.
• Loads trucks and communicates any quality, food safety, or food security issues to supervision.

SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION

Schedule

12 hours rotating swing shift, 4 days on / 4 days off then 4 nights on / 4 nights off.

Job Summary

Operates, inspects, a conducts maintenance activities and cleaning of equipment and areas related to the grinding of hulls . Ensures that the equipment is functioning properly, is well maintained, and product is within specification/requirement. Will be responsible for loading trucks and notifying supervisor and management of any quality, food safety, or food security issues.
