Job summary

HEI Civil, a top heavy civil construction company, seeks an experienced Utility Foreman in Waco, TX to lead field crews and coordinate underground utility projects. This role focuses on safety, production, and on-schedule delivery across water, sewer, and storm sewer work.

You will manage daily activities, monitor production, maintain field records, and collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure project success. Strong leadership and bilingual English/Spanish are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience leading utility construction crews in heavy civil projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• Experience with daily field reports and project documentation.
• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crews performing underground utility installation, including water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer projects.
• Plan daily work activities and coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to support project schedules.
• Provide regular project updates and communicate upcoming work plans with project leadership.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to review project plans, schedules, and constructability.
• Establish daily production goals and monitor progress throughout the project.
• Maintain accurate records of time, equipment hours, daily reports, and production quantities.
