Job summary

Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. is seeking a maintenance professional in Oklahoma City to service electrical equipment, machinery, and fleet assets. You will perform regular upkeep, document repairs, and coordinate with crews to prevent downtime.

This full-time role requires a minimum of two years of experience, owning your tools, a Class A CDL or eligibility, and willingness to travel. Expect 50+ hour weeks with comprehensive benefits and opportunities through the Lineman Apprenticeship program.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of two years’ experience
• Must provide own tools
• Experience in electrical, hydraulics, and diesel preferred
• Must have or be eligible to obtain a Class A CDL
• Must be willing to travel when necessary
• 50+ hrs a week expected

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular maintenance on machinery, systems, and automotive vehicles including tires and tracks
• Meet with crew members and leads to better understand their concerns and identify issues.
• Assemble mechanical components according to specs
• Examine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems
• Design a plan of action for all maintenance equipment tasks and upgrades.
• Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records
• Monitor inventory and order new parts when necessary
• Perform vehicle/equipment assessments and alert appropriate parties on issues that will prohibit their vehicle/equipment from operating correctly or passing an inspections
• Perform DOT inspections
