Job summary

Mahoney Environmental Solutions' Joliet location is seeking a CDL Class A or B Utility driver to join our Union team. Night shift starts between 12am and 4am, with a starting rate of $29.00 per hour.

As a member of Teamsters Local 710 union, health and welfare benefits are provided through the union and a 401(k) plan is offered by the company. Responsibilities include pumping, cleaning, inspections, and DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid US Class A or B CDL with acceptable driving standards.
• Tanker endorsement required prior to onboarding.
• DOT certified medical card.
• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 100 lbs.
• At least 2 years CDL driving experience.
• Ability to drive manual transmissions.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive CDL vehicle on night shifts starting between 12am–4am.
• Remove grease trap material and waste from customer sites using 2–3 inch pump hoses.
• Prepare truck and tools; conduct pre/post trip inspections.
• Maintain and log hours; comply with DOT e-log requirements.
• Adhere to DOT rules and safety initiatives; participate in safety programs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Our Joliet location is looking a CDL Class A or B Utility driver to join our Union team. We've been around for over 70 years, and this could be the last job you ever have to apply for.

Schedule: Night shift starting between 12am and 4am.

Starting hourly rate: $29.00 an hour

You provide:

• Trained in Preferred Oil, Chase, Bulk, Fat & Bone, and removal of grease trap material from customers sites utilizing 2 inch to 3 inch pump hoses.
• Clean up waste spills and overflows.
• Preparing truck/tools and conducting pre/post trip inspections.
• Complying with e-log requirements and using tablet.
• Maintain truck log and comply with DOT rules and regulations.
• Fully participate and support all safety initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:
