Job summary

Waste Recovery Systems is seeking a Bulk Tanker Driver to safely operate a bulk tanker, load and unload product, and complete all required documentation in a timely manner. This is a full-time position requiring a CDL Class A with air brake and tanker endorsements and the ability to drive a manual transmission.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of CDL A experience, be able to work interstate, and maintain a clean, professional appearance while adhering to all DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and

Responsibilities

• Safely drive truck to and from destinations following DOT regulations.
• Check loads to ensure safe and proper hauling.
• Meet customer expectations and maintain high satisfaction.
• Develop working relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Follow supervisor instructions and adhere to safety standards.

Waste Recovery Systems is looking to add a Bulk Tanker Driver. This candidate will be an experienced CDL class A driver with air brake and tanker endorsements, capable of driving manual transmission.

Bulk Tanker: Responsible for safely operating a bulk tanker vehicle, the safe and efficient loading and unloading of product, accurate and timely completion of complaince documentation (manifests, work orders, etc).

Essential Job Functions

• Safely drive truck to and from destination applying knowledge of DOT driving regulations and area roads


• Check loads to ensure product is being hauled in an appropriate and safe manner


• Strive to meet customer expectations without exception and achieve highly positive customer satisfaction


• Develop working relationships with customers, both external and internal


• Keep equipment in acceptable condition of cleanliness using approved cleaning materials and supplies


• Maintain personal appearance in neat manner


• Maintain contact with supervisor/dispatch to receive and transmit delivery instructions


• Assist other company employees as needed


• Complete pre and post-trip inspections on truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water


• May perform roadside repairs, such as installing light bulbs, etc.


• Maintain good working knowledge of the traffic routes of the city


• Must be able to take orders, instructions, and guidance from supervisors and management


• Adhere to all DOT, FMCSA, OSHA and MIOSHA rules and regulations at all times


• Meet or exceed company safety standards


• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned

License Requirements

• Must possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A) with air break and tanker endorsement


• Must have a minimum of 2-year experience as a CDL A Driver with heavy haul experience
