Position Overview: The utility associate performs various tasks in the food and beverage department including dishwashing, trash control, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Essential Functions

1. Perform dish and pot washing and general cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining area.
2. Assist in ordering and storing food and non-food products.
3. Set up and maintain the pot and dish washing area.
4. Distribute and store clean pots, dishes, and utensils.
5. Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen according to schedules and procedures.
6. Empty trash containers as required.
7. Assist in food preparation as directed by supervisor.
8. Notify the Director of Food and Beverage or maintenance for malfunctioning kitchen equipment.
9. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.

Non-Essential Functions

1. Lead by example, exhibiting CORE Values through servant leadership.
2. Possess a passion for working with and around senior citizens.
3. Attend community meetings and participate in Life Enrichment activities when able.
4. Complete all required courses in adherence with HRA University.
5. Be punctual and perform duties reliably.
6. Understand reporting procedures for missing persons using the Safe Return program or similar.
7. Know the steps for fire evacuation.
8. Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents.
