Dishwasher/Utility Prep - Part-time, Temp

Miss Hall's School is seeking a part-time, temporary Dishwasher/Utility Prep person to assist in our dining program. This position involves working with team members to keep the kitchen, dishes, and dining room clean and organized. As a Utility person, you will also help with catered events, including setup, production, and breakdown. Opportunities to learn other kitchen tasks such as soups, prep, and ordering are also available. This temporary position runs through August 24, 2025.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, and pans
• Maintain a clean and organized dish room area
• Store dishes, pots, pans, and small wares in designated areas
• Maintain clean floors and kitchen areas
• Empty trash and recyclables as needed
• Assist chefs, servers, and cooks with prep and food production
• Maintain temperature logs of dishwashing equipment
• Help with order organization and restocking
• Set up or break down dish machine at shift start/end
• Alert team members of broken equipment or issues
• Perform other duties as assigned
