ENTRUST Solutions Group in California is seeking a detail-oriented Design Drafter / Engineering Designer to support planning, design, and permitting of gas and electric utility infrastructure projects. You will prepare engineering exhibits and documentation for Caltrans Encroachment Permit applications and develop DS/DDs and EPEs, collaborating with engineers, permit coordinators, and clients.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years' engineering design/drafting experience; electric or gas utility experience preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and ability to interpret engineering standards.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare engineering exhibits and plan sheets for Caltrans Encroachment Permit applications.
• Research and interpret Caltrans standards, policies, and utility requirements.
• Develop Design Standard Decision Documents (DSDDs) and Encroachment Policy Exceptions (EPEs).
• Coordinate with project engineers, designers, surveyors, and utility clients.
• Produce high-quality drawings and ensure compliance with standards.
