US Foods in United States (Paris/Nashville/Bowling Green service area) is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver. You will start training at $26.97/hour with advancement to component pay as you go, often averaging around $1,700 per week.

Typical schedule runs Mon-Fri with 3-5am starts, requiring yard travel for a week at a time. Responsibilities include safe driving, unloading, delivery verification, customer service, and basic account handling.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid CDL Class A and DOT qualifications.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience (any industry) or 3+ months in food/beverage delivery.

The CDL A Delivery Driver role goes beyond simply transporting goods - it’s about perfecting the craft of delivery, earning trust mile by mile, and serving as a vital link to our customers.Key ResponsibilitiesSafe Driving: Deliver products to our customers in a timely and safe manner.Unloading: Skillfully unload products efficiently using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand, placing them in the designated storage areas – 100% touch freight.Delivery Verification: Verify deliveries with customers & secure signatures.Customer Service: Provide professional service to enhance customer experience.Equipment Inspection: Conduct pre- & post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards.Account Management: Handle collections and payments when applicable.Adaptability: All other duties assigned by management.Physical RequirementsLift/carry/push/pull/lower 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required.Driving & working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required.Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment as low as 0 degrees.Continuously grasp objects & manipulate objects. Frequently sit, stand, walk, drive, climb/balance, stoop/squat, kneel/bend, bend, reach above shoulder, twist, and use manual dexterity.QualificationsRegister to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*Must be at least 21 years of age.Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.Minimum 6-months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR 3-months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required.Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations.Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.About US FOODSClick here to learn more!*Registering to the FMCSA Clearinghouse is a requirement by the Department of Transportation.
