City of Victoria seeks a Utility Crew Leader to supervise and participate in installation, maintenance, and repair of the city's utility infrastructure. Under general supervision, you will plan crews, assign tasks, train staff, and ensure compliance with safety rules while delivering projects on schedule.
You will oversee sewer and water systems, operate and coordinate equipment, read meters, and handle citizen inquiries.
Under general supervision, the Utility Crew Leader plans, oversees, and participates in the work of crews performing installation, maintenance, repair, and construction work on the City’s utility infrastructure.

Work is performed in a standard office environment and throughout the city at utility treatment facilities and work sites. May be exposed to hazardous chemicals, potentially dangerous tools, equipment, and machinery, noxious fumes and odors, electrical and traffic hazards, and inclement weather conditions. May be required to work in confined spaces, climb in and out of trenches, and lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
