Job summary

CobbFendley seeks an experienced Utility Coordination Deputy Project Manager for its Austin, Texas office. The role focuses on coordinating utility interfaces, preparing agreements and schedules, and supporting project leadership across financial, contractual, and risk management tasks.

The candidate will work with utility companies, state agencies, and project teams to ensure compliance and project success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of AEC professional experience.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and lifecycle, industry standards, city, state and federal rules and regulations, tools and software (Microsoft Office, Vantagepoint, Smartsheet).
• Ability to think strategically, communicate and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage weekly budget reporting and LOE for proposals and authorizations.
• Assist with contract reviews, QA/QC processes, and safety plans.
• Coordinate with utility companies, prepare and track utility relocation schedules, and manage related invoices and reports.
• Ensure project schedules align with client expectations and drive timely responses to issues.
• Assist in recruiting and developing project team members and provide feedback to management.
• Prepare contracts, scopes of work, fee proposals, and monthly invoices; coordinate with clients on payments.
