Job summary

Black Hills Energy is seeking a driven professional to design and provide project management for assigned capital and maintenance projects on utility distribution systems in Cheyenne or Laramie, Wyoming.

You will ensure customers receive superior service in line with BHE standards, coordinate with internal teams, and manage projects end-to-end, including input for budgets and schedules. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/credential not required if experience aligns with role.
• Minimum of 3 years of construction planning, utility operations, project management, engineering, or relevant experience.
• Strong construction management skills and ability to lead multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design utility distribution overhead and underground systems per standards.
• Plan, design, and coordinate customer requirements for service installations.
• Prepare construction plans and obtain rights-of-way, easements, and permits.
• Communicate policies to customers and coordinate to satisfy needs.
• Manage all aspects of construction projects with cross-functional teams.
