Job summary

PUSH Incorporated is seeking an Operator I - Utility Construction to safely operate assigned construction equipment for underground utilities across rural and urban sites. You will support digging, conduit placement, and pedestal setting while following safety procedures.

The role requires field experience around utilities, ability to read prints, and a willingness to travel. CDL is preferred; a valid driver’s license is required to operate company vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year of verifiable experience operating smaller utility construction equipment.
• General knowledge of underground utility construction procedures.
• Ability to read and understand construction prints preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• CDL preferred.
• Ability to travel and work away from home for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and ground conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned construction equipment, including lead cats, cleanup tractors, and compact track loaders.
• Perform digging operations around utilities in rural and urban environments.
• Conduct daily inspections, maintenance, and basic servicing of equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized equipment and work area.
• Follow safety procedures and operating standards.
• Assist with routine labor such as conduit, duct and cable placement, and pedestal setting.
