Job summary

R.H. White Construction in Auburn, MA is seeking Construction Laborers to assist with layouts, assembly, and installation of piping for underground/above ground utilities. This role supports the Utility construction crew and may require emergency response availability.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ years of general labor experience, ability to read and write English, and valid U.S. driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or demonstrated relevant experience.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must obtain and maintain Gas Operator Qualifications and OSHA 10 certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and promote all Company Safety Policies and the Company Code of Conduct.
• Clean tools, equipment, materials, and work area.
• Lift, carry and hold construction materials, tools, and supplies.
• Assist with joining, wrapping, and sealing pipe.
• Dig, spread, and level dirt, gravel, sand, or other materials using hand tools.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete and asphalt using hand tools.
• Perform machine and non-machine tasks such as removing forms, placing pipe in trench, jack hammering and tapping.
• Work harmoniously, co-operatively, and courteously with others.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as required.
