Job summary

Meijer in Michigan is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks and customer service responsibilities across our store. You will be part of a family company focused on leadership, personal growth, and community involvement.

The role includes cart pickup, parking lot and store area cleanup, snow removal, returns, and collaboration with multiple departments. You will work in a fast-paced environment and interact with customers to provide above-and-beyond

• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product or operating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for removing snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments across the store.
• This profile may include other duties as assigned.

As an entry-level team member, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to additional services provided by our store, product and customer service. What You'll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.

• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
