Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Michigan is seeking cart attendants to help maintain store efficiency and cleanliness. You will ferry shopping carts, assist with parking lot duties, and support various departments across the store.

Responsibilities

• Ferry shopping carts from outside to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and store trash.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment to clear snow.
• Process perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking areas.
• Work with departments across Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
