Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a cart attendant to support store operations in Owosso, MI. You will ferry carts, help keep the parking lot clean, manage trash, and assist with snow removal during winter months.

You’ll also handle returns and basic cleaning while coordinating with multiple departments to ensure a smooth shopping experience. Ideal candidates are organized, good listeners and communicators, able to lift and move items, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ferry shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment to remove snow.
• Process perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking areas.
• Coordinate with departments across Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
